Capella



Capella is a double binary system, with a total of four stars. Capella is the brightest star in the constellation Auriga and the sixth brightest star in the night sky.

Location: RA 90° 16' 41.36" | Dec 45° 59' 52.77" (equinox)

Stellar Classification: Capella Aa and Capella Ab: Giant Star, Spectral type G; Capella H and Capella L: relatively cool red dwarfs

Chemical Makeup: Helium, strong amounts of Al, Mg, Ti, and Fe
